Awareness comes back to Siri abruptly. One minute there’s... nothing, and then suddenly the Force is exploding to life around her, in her, as awareness comes rushing back. She’s disoriented, and it’s only the sensation of hitting the ground that jars her into just a little more clarity. She feels... numb, weak, her limbs unsteady, and given how the darkness envelopes her despite the way she’s blinking she’s blind, as well.
Hibernation sickness.
Just because she can’t see doesn’t mean she’s as blind as others might expect. She still has the Force, and she can sense the presence of other beings. She knows they’re there. She just doesn’t know whether or not they’re anyone she can trust. Or where she is. Or what happened. She doesn’t know much of anything, and it bothers her.
Memories start coming back to her. Obi-Wan. The mission. Being frozen in carbonite. Kriff. Something's wrong. She can feel it. She forces herself to a knee despite how her muscles tremble, thrusting out a hand and reaching out with the Force. The drawer where they’d stored their lightsabers before the freezing snaps open and her lightsaber flies into her hand. “I suggest you tell me what’s going on. Where are we?”
A familiar voice answers her from the blackness. "Siri, it's me."
Obi-Wan had been doing the same - fumbling in the dark with trembling hands, struggling to regain his senses or find some understanding of their situation. They weren't at the Citadel, he knew that much for sure. Whether their mission was a failure or if they'd merely hit a snag along the way ... he didn't know for certain, but he had a bad feeling about this detour, however large it was.
Whatever the case, he'd needed to thaw the others.
